Nagoya City hosts the world's largest Cosplay event. With over 20 years of history since its first edition, the number of participating countries has increased year by year. Each year, more than 200,000 people attend, attracting global attention.
Over three days, various activities are held at main venues such as Oasis 21, Aichi Arts and Culture Center, and Hisaya-odori Park. The main competition, the "World Cosplay Championship," gathers participants from various countries who excelled in the preliminaries to compete for the title of Cosplay champion, featuring Cosplayers portraying characters from anime, manga, and video games. The extremely high level of detail and stunning uniqueness make each event exceptionally lively. Additionally, there are lavish guest appearances at the pre-event festival, parades in Osu Shopping District, and various stage performances, creating an unprecedented spectacle.
