Details
A super popular bakery & café that has opened branches in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto. The shop operates under the philosophy of "not repeating the same day with 'daily', but intentionally using 'one day at a time'," providing meals that emphasize quality and ingredients. The café is housed in the old Kobayashi residence, which is over 210 years old and designated as a cultural property of Kyoto. In this space that utilizes traditional architecture, time flows leisurely, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. There is also a bakery called "BREAD&" on the premises.
The signature dish, "BRANDY SET (Matsu)," includes a set of five types of bread, cured ham, and fruit sandwiches. It also comes with desserts like canelé and roasted tea tiramisu, allowing patrons to sample various dishes in smaller portions, which is one of its features. Additionally, the "Matcha French Toast," available only after 2 PM, is a must-try exclusive dish of the Arashiyama area. The best-selling bread at "BREAD&," called "muー," absorbs a large amount of matcha sauce, and its soft and fluffy texture is irresistible. After purchasing bread, customers can also enjoy it inside the café.
