About Café De Beau
Spending happy moments in a retro café at Arima Onsen.
Details
Arima Onsen is a famous hot spring area in the Kansai region, beloved by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Café De Beau is a retro café located near the "Kin no Yu," where the brown "Kin-sen" springs forth in Arima Onsen.
Imagining "what if the French opened a café in Arima Onsen...," the café was created as a "French dessert shop suitable for both yukata and suits," transformed from a Western-style mansion where the owner once lived. It is filled with elegantly tasteful antique furniture and cameras collected by the owner, exuding a nostalgic atmosphere. While the interior has a Western style, the courtyard features an impressive Japanese garden, showcasing a fashionable blend of Japanese and Western elements.
The café offers a variety of special dishes, including the "Arima Cake Roll" made with precious Kin-sen salt extracted from Arima Onsen, the original "Black Bean Sweet Tart" using Tanba black beans, and the specially blended coffee beans "Kobe Ogiwara Coffee" designed to pair with the desserts at Café De Beau.
