Located on the northern slope of Mount Daisen in Tottori Prefecture, this ski resort features four areas: the International Zone, the Gōenzan Zone, the Central Zone, and the Uehara Zone, with a total of 9 different ski trails suitable for everyone from beginners to seasoned skiers. The resort's prime location is its biggest selling point; stepping off the gondola, you are greeted by the endless expanse of the Sea of Japan, earning it the title of "the ski resort with a view of the sea." On clear days, you can also see the Yumihama Peninsula, the Shimane Peninsula, and even the distant Oki Islands. The championship ski run, approximately 1,600 meters long, offers a thrilling experience akin to diving into the Sea of Japan. There is also a snow play park open on weekends and national holidays, designed for toddlers and elementary school children. Here, they can safely enjoy activities like sledding and building snowmen. Additionally, there are dining areas available. "Daisen Cottage" focuses on local ingredients, while "Gōenzan Cottage" offers dining with views of Mount Daisen and the Sea of Japan.
