🍜 Hachiya (八屋)

📝 Introduction

A cafe that proposes a completely new way to enjoy Japanese tea.

📖 Details

Hachiya is located near Meiji Shrine in the Harajuku area and features an exterior reminiscent of a Japanese small cuisine restaurant. The interior, highlighted by original walls themed around pine trees, is very eye-catching, making it a modern-style tea house and café. The main offerings of the shop are Hachiya's original Sencha, Hojicha, and Genmaicha, and they insist on carefully brewing each cup with a tea whisk (茶筅). In addition, they also sell beverages such as Sencha, Matcha, and Hojicha smoothies. Furthermore, Hachiya provides Sencha, Hojicha, Matcha smoothies, and traditional Japanese sweets that enhance the flavor of the tea. The specially crafted tea snacks offer a unique taste.
