🎨 Restaurant Gallery
📝 Introduction
The fresh, fragrant, and sweet white chicken bone broth is truly captivating.
📖 Details
In 1953 (Showa 28), the sukiyaki restaurant opened. Around 1965 (Showa 40), the "Boiled Chicken Hot Pot" was introduced and has since become synonymous with the restaurant. The secret to its deliciousness lies in using Kagoshima's Akakage chicken, "Satsuma Akakage," and carefully skimming off the foam while simmering the milky-white chicken bone broth for a long time.
The way to enjoy it is to first pour the broth into a bowl and taste the original flavor of the soup base before starting to cook the hot pot. The silky and tender chicken, secret-recipe minced chicken, spinach, cabbage, and other seasonal vegetables are simmered in the pot, providing generous portions. The restaurant prepares a refreshing homemade citrus vinegar sauce made from soy sauce and orange, which pairs excellently with the ingredients.
In addition to the signature "Boiled Chicken Hot Pot Set," the consistently popular "IROHA Special Sukiyaki" and "Black Wagyu Beef Shoulder Shabu-Shabu" have also gained much love. There are also rich à la carte dishes such as "Fresh Horse Meat Directly from Kumamoto" and "Hakata's Famous Mentaiko."
