🛍️ Hareza Ikebukuro

Opened in 2020, this large complex facility was renovated from the old Toshima Ward Office and the former Toshima Public Hall. It is located in Ikebukuro, known as a "subculture sanctuary" famous for anime and cosplay, and has gained significant attention as a new cultural dissemination hub. Hareza Ikebukuro is centered around Nakai Ikebukuro Park and consists of three buildings with a unified design style. The "Hareza Tower" is a 33-story skyscraper, with shops on the lower floors and offices on the upper floors, as well as the "TOHO CINEMAS Ikebukuro," which features 10 screening rooms, including two luxury theaters. The "Tokyo Tatemono Brillia HALL" has a multifunctional hall that can accommodate approximately 1,250 people, suitable for various performances such as traditional arts and musicals, along with the futuristic live theater "harevutai," equipped with cutting-edge technology. Additionally, the multifunctional hall and small hall of the Toshima Citizens Center, along with the striking red staircase of Park Plaza and Nakai Ikebukuro Park, can also be used for hosting events. The three buildings are connected by a pathway called the connecting bridge, making it quite convenient to move between them. The various artworks displayed throughout the connecting pathway, entrance, and restrooms are also worth a look.
