The Science Museum located in Taihara Forest Park, Sendai City (formerly known as 3M Sendai Science Museum), allows visitors to learn scientific knowledge in a fun and engaging way through participatory and experiential exhibits. In April 2024, the fourth floor's permanent exhibition hall will be renovated and reopened, consisting of three areas: "Exploration of Science," "Nature of Miyagi and Sendai," and "Life and Science." In the "Nature of Miyagi and Sendai" area, there is an exhibition called "Memories of the Earth," showcasing spectacular skeletal specimens and reconstructions of organisms that once inhabited Miyagi and Sendai. Additionally, the "Gateway to Nature" exhibition area features realistic three-dimensional models that recreate the mountainous, hilly, and coastal regions of Miyagi, helping visitors understand the mechanisms of the natural world. The "Exploration of Science" area includes many hands-on exhibits, such as the "Science Units," where visitors can learn basic scientific concepts and principles related to length, weight, time, and more, as well as a periodic table of elements with physical specimens, allowing guests to experience the wonders of science firsthand. Furthermore, in the "Challenge Laboratory," which is accessible to both adults and children, daily experiments and hands-on courses are held, receiving high praise from participants.

Located in Sendai City, this is a participatory and experiential science museum. It consists of three areas: "Scientific Exploration," "Nature of Miyagi and Sendai," and "Life and Science." In April 2024, the permanent exhibition room on the 4th floor will be renovated and reopened. It will also offer activities such as science experiences and hands-on workshops.
