🗺️ Kiyosato Moegi no Mura (Kiyosato Village of Sprouts)萌木の村

Located in the Kiyosato Highlands of Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, "Mōgi no Mura" is a vast comprehensive tourist facility. Surrounded by a natural garden filled with wildflowers and grasses, it features many uniquely designed and stylish shops, restaurants, and a music box museum. The natural garden of Mōgi no Mura, designed by the renowned landscape designer Paul Smith, is particularly popular. The natural garden changes its charm with the seasons. In spring, cherry blossoms and azaleas bloom; in summer, beautiful hydrangeas and lilies can be seen; and in autumn, the enchanting scenery of maple leaves attracts visitors. In addition to seasonal flowers, various wild grasses and flowers, as well as other precious plants growing at the foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains, can also be observed. The facility also includes a hotel with an authentic bar, a restaurant serving special curry rice and handcrafted beer, workshops where visitors can watch and experience handmade crafts, and shops suitable for buying souvenirs. Moreover, Mōgi no Mura hosts various events throughout the year, making it a year-round tourist destination.

22 unique shops are spread throughout the beautiful nature. Among them are restaurants, hotels, a music box museum, craft workshops, and grocery stores. There is Japan's only carousel located in a forest, called "Carousel Dream." In summer, a one-of-a-kind outdoor ballet performance is held, set against the backdrop of nature, which is quite famous. The renowned landscape designer Paul Smith personally designed the natural garden and planted many flowers. The garden features numerous rare flower species, so please be careful not to step on the flower beds.
