🎎 Main Island Bicycle Tour

The Shiwaku Islands are located in the waters between Okayama Prefecture and Kagawa Prefecture, connected to the Seto Inland Sea. The main island at the center of the Shiwaku Islands has historically nurtured many skilled boatmen, and during the Edo period (1603-1868), maritime trade was quite prosperous. This time, I rode a bicycle to explore the main island, which still retains the beautiful scenery of traditional Japanese residences.

You can fully enjoy the historic street scenery. The road with a view of the Seto Ohashi Bridge is the best scenic spot on the main island. The coastal road is very pleasant with the sea breeze blowing.
