📖 Details
Water元公園, built along the 小合溜水庫, is a park with a beautiful water-town landscape. Covering an area of 96 hectares, the expansive park features natural attractions such as the Poplar Tree Forest Trail and the "水杉之森" (Metasequoia Forest), making it an excellent place for leisurely walks and forest bathing.
Every spring, the 3.5-kilometer-long riverbank path is adorned with blooming cherry blossoms, creating a spectacular view. In June each year, around 100 varieties of irises, totaling 14,000 plants, bloom in competition with each other.
The park also has an outdoor barbecue area (reservation required in advance). Additionally, visitors can observe wild birds in the bird conservation area by the water.

In spring, you can see beautiful cherry blossoms. Every year in June is the best time to enjoy the iris flowers (花菖蒲). There are poplar tree groves (白楊樹林道) and a metasequoia forest (水杉之森). The central square has a vast lawn.
