Moerenuma Park is an art park that was born from the concept of the "Green Belt Plan," which surrounds the city of Sapporo with parks and green spaces. Sculptor Isamu Noguchi designed the entire park as a work of art, showcasing various landscapes that change with the seasons. Among its most iconic structures is the "Glass Pyramid," which is a glass structure that combines triangular faces, quadrilateral pyramids, and cubes. During the day, it reflects the blue sky, and in the evening, it captures the glow of the sunset. The scenery reflected on the glass changes with time, displaying different appearances. Depending on the time of day, it can even create gradient colors, allowing visitors to appreciate its ever-changing beauty throughout the day. Another striking landscape feature is "Moerenuma Mountain." This small hill, approximately 52 meters high, is itself a sculptural landscape that can be easily accessed by walking to the summit. There are both straight and curved paths leading from the base to the top, each offering different views of Moerenuma Mountain. From the summit, one can overlook the entire Moerenuma Park and enjoy the expansive park scenery.

The former waste disposal site has been reborn as "Sculpture of the Earth" after 23 years. The "Glass Pyramid" is a symbol of Moeraki Boulders Park. "Moeraki Mountain" is the largest structure within the park.
