🗺️ Naeba Ski Resort苗場スキー場

Naeba Ski Resort covers an area of approximately 134 hectares, making it the largest ski resort in the country. It is renowned for its excellent snow quality and features a diverse range of ski trails (a total of 24), catering to both beginners and advanced skiers. The 4-kilometer downhill ski run is particularly impressive. Adjacent to Naeba Ski Resort is the Naeba Prince Hotel, which has 1,200 guest rooms. Every winter, the hotel hosts concerts by Yumi Matsutoya, known as the "Queen of New Music" in Japan. While Naeba is often associated with winter activities, it can actually be enjoyed year-round. The "Fuji Rock Festival," held in late July to early August, is the largest outdoor music event in the country, featuring over 200 musicians from both Japan and abroad each year. Additionally, the area is famous for its autumn foliage. Riding the "Naeba Dragon Gondola," the longest gondola in Japan with a height difference of about 430 meters and a total length of approximately 5.5 kilometers, offers breathtaking views of the autumn leaves below.

The excellent snow quality and ski trails make it the largest ski resort in the country. Matsutoya Yumi's concert is a classic winter event. The FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, a rock music festival, is held in the summer. The autumn foliage viewed from the dragon cable car is also not to be missed.
