📖 Details
Honmachi San-chome Store is a specialty shop for Nakatsu Fried Chicken, which has won seven gold awards and one grand prize at the "Japanese Fried Chicken Awards." Nakatsu Fried Chicken is a local dish from Nakatsu City in Oita Prefecture, made by marinating chicken in a secret sauce based on various seasonings like garlic and ginger, along with soy sauce, and then deep-frying the marinated chicken pieces in hot oil.
The signature menu items are "Boneless Chicken Thigh Fried Chicken" (100g/340 yen) and "Boneless Chicken Breast Fried Chicken" (100g/270 yen). Both dishes use carefully selected domestic tender chicken, marinated in a special garlic sauce that includes a large amount of apple, and then quickly deep-fried in hot oil. Additionally, "Fried Chicken Cartilage" (approximately 130g/550 yen per box), "Fried Chicken Wings" (180 yen each), as well as other fried foods and bento boxes that include fried chicken pieces are also very popular.
In addition to the Honmachi San-chome Store, Nakatsu Fried Chicken also has branches in Togoshi Ginza and Ooyamadai. The Honmachi San-chome Store features a dining area where customers can enjoy freshly fried chicken pieces.
