🛍️ Nara Family

Nara Family is a large complex commercial facility located at Kintetsu Department Store Nara, AEON STYLE Nara, and the specialty store street Zoro. Since its opening in 1972 as Japan's first combined complex of two large shopping centers, it has undergone multiple renovations and reconstructions to achieve its current scale. Nara Family consists of three main facilities, gathering a variety of shops including gourmet food, shopping, fashion apparel, and miscellaneous goods, as well as convenient facilities for citizens such as a passport center and a post office. The specialty store street Zoro has attracted attention for featuring many boutique brand stores that opened for the first time in Nara Prefecture. The design theme of the specialty store street is "Yamato Modern," with each floor showcasing a unique design style, making shopping a fun experience. Additionally, the building has a rooftop garden called "Sky Garden," which offers a panoramic view of the Heijo Palace ruins and Mount Kasuga. There is also a barbecue area called "DigiQ Barbecue Garden," where visitors can enjoy a hearty meal while shopping (closed in winter and requires advance reservation). On the 5th floor, there is a classical concert hall named "Akishino Music Hall" with 300 seats, a food court on the basement level, and various restaurants on the 6th floor. Besides shopping, the leisure and entertainment facilities are quite abundant, allowing visitors to enjoy a full day.
