🗺️ Odaiba Park
🎨 Attraction Gallery
📝 Introduction
A park with a stunning view of Odaiba, floating on Tokyo Bay.
📖 Details
Located at the front of Odaiba Seaside Park, this park juts out into Tokyo Bay. In 1853, the Edo Shogunate, feeling threatened by Commodore Perry's arrival, built Odaiba (a battery) to defend against foreign ships, and the Third Odaiba is now open to the public as a park. The park features remnants of a guardhouse, a powder magazine, and replicas of the battery, allowing visitors to glimpse its historical appearance.
From Odaiba Park, one can see the Rainbow Bridge and other scenic views of the Odaiba area, making it a popular spot for walking, with many benches throughout the park. The scenery is not only pleasant during the day, but the sunset glow in the evening and the night view after the Rainbow Bridge is illuminated are also stunning.
Additionally, in spring, the "Oshima Sakura," selected by the Japan Tree Doctors Association as a healthy and excellent tree, blooms beautifully in the park. The towering 10-meter tree amazes visitors. The park is open year-round and free to enter, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery while strolling in the Odaiba area.
⭐ Highlights
