The "Osaka Light Festival," which makes the nights of Osaka shine with beautiful and dreamy lights, is composed of two main themes: the "Midosuji Illuminations," held along the main street Midosuji, and the "OSAKA Light Renaissance," representing the "Water City Osaka" in the Nakanoshima area. The Midosuji Illuminations are themed "The Illuminated Avenue to a Brilliant Future," and will dazzle with stunning lights along the approximately 4-kilometer stretch of road from Umeda to Namba. By the way, the Midosuji Illuminations were recognized in January 2015 for having the "most street trees decorated with illuminations" in the world.
