Located next to the beautiful beach in Onna Village, in the northern part of Okinawa Main Island, the Ryukyu Glass Experience Workshop allows you to not only watch the process of glass melting and shaping on-site but also to create your own unique original glass piece with the guidance of skilled artisans. You can try the complete process of rolling molten glass on a blowpipe and then blowing it into shape. You can choose from round cups, rocks glasses, and flat glasses, with basic colors available in blue, light blue, green, and clear. For an additional fee, you can also select pink, yellow, orange, and purple. Throughout the experience, artisans provide careful guidance, making it a worry-free experience even for beginners. The production time is approximately 15-30 minutes. The finished pieces will be processed at the workshop and can be picked up the next day. The workshop also features a retail area selling glass products. There are a variety of colorful glass cups and cute accessories, making them perfect as souvenirs. They are not only great for personal use but also make excellent gifts for important people in your life.
