The food event themed "Sapporo Cuisine in Hokkaido" attracts 2 million visitors each year. The event is held in seven areas of Odori Park in Sapporo, featuring 300 stalls along a 1-kilometer stretch.
The variety of food on-site is rich and diverse, including signature products from various municipalities within the region, as well as beer, local sake, and wine, along with special dishes prepared by renowned chefs from famous restaurants in Sapporo. Each area has a different theme, creating a tranquil space where food is combined with live music performances; there are also areas focused on Hokkaido's famous sake and side dishes, regions centered around meat and vegetable dishes, and special sections offering different dishes from Sapporo's representative restaurants each day. Local specialties from outside Sapporo in Hokkaido are also noteworthy.
