🗺️ Setsu Gorge Park摂津峡公園

Located in the central area of Takatsuki City, which runs north to south through the northern part of Osaka Prefecture, this park is situated along the upper reaches of the Akagawa River. It boasts the rich natural beauty of its valleys and is a scenic spot in the northern Kinki region, beloved not only by the residents of Takatsuki but also attracting many visitors from outside the city. Covering an area of 42.65 hectares, the park is entirely forested. It features open spaces for children to run and play, as well as well-maintained nature trails that allow visitors to enjoy views of unique rock formations such as "Gyōja-iwa" (行者岩), "Hachidai-iwa" (八疊岩), cliffs, and waterfalls while walking. There are also hiking trails leading to the mountain summit, making it a popular destination for those who enjoy the pleasures of climbing. The park is rich in natural resources, showcasing various landscapes that change with the seasons. In spring, up to 230 cherry blossom trees bloom beautifully; in early summer, fireflies gracefully dance near the clear rivers; summer offers opportunities to enjoy playing in the river; and in autumn, the entire park is adorned with stunning red leaves, providing a beautiful scenery that varies with the seasons. Nearby, there are barbecue areas and Italian restaurants, allowing visitors to spend a leisurely day in the tranquil embrace of nature.
