🛍️ SHIBUYA STREAM

Shibuya STREAM (渋谷ストリーム) is a large mixed-use facility that was developed by redeveloping the southern platform and tracks of the former Tokyu Toyoko Line Shibuya Station and the surrounding Shibuya River area. It officially opened in 2018. This high-rise building, which has 35 above-ground floors and 4 underground levels, houses office spaces as well as various restaurants and commercial facilities. The upper floors are primarily designated for office use, while the lower floors feature a hotel, multipurpose event hall, fitness areas, and various shops and dining options. Adjacent to the first floor is the Shibuya River, which is lined with two plazas and a 600-meter-long waterfront promenade called "Shibuya River Walk" (渋谷川遊歩道), making it an ideal spot for dates and leisurely strolls. Additionally, it serves as a venue for various outdoor events.

You can buy coffee or other beverages to go and enjoy a leisurely stroll along the riverside. The facility features many trendy and delicious fast-food restaurants. There are multiple Japanese restaurants including sushi shops, soba noodle shops, yakitori stalls, and izakaya. There are also bars offering sake and craft beer. The "Shibuya Stream Excel Hotel Tokyu" boasts an excellent location, and its interior design, which blends retro ambience with modern stylish elements, has generated much buzz.
