A restaurant and bar where you can enjoy live performances of traditional arts such as Noh, Kyogen, Japanese dance, and gagaku while savoring your meal. Located in the underground forest space of an ancient shrine in Nihonbashi, Suigian offers an atmosphere reminiscent of a hidden retreat that stirs the playful spirit of adults. Inside, there is not only a magnificent permanent stage but also a gallery featuring ukiyo-e and prints, along with a traditional tea room. The well-known artist and owner, Hideki Kimura, can often be seen around, showcasing his endless curiosity for culture and art. The menu primarily features Japanese cuisine, made with carefully selected fresh ingredients and a focus on dashi (broth). The meals are served in a set menu style, allowing you to fully experience the various flavors of the "24 solar terms and 72 seasonal subdivisions" (※ If you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies, please inform us in advance for adjustments). Additionally, there are bar counter seats and comfortable sofa seating like a living room, and the bar area is also popular for its original cocktails named after Noh plays.
