Founded in the late Muromachi period in Kyoto, "Toraya" is a renowned old brand famous for its wagashi, such as yokan. The "Toraya" Ginza store was established in 1947 and will reappear in April 2024 with a new image as "TORAYA GINZA," aiming to showcase the fresh charm of "Toraya" and "wagashi" to customers of all ages, both domestic and international. The store-exclusive baked confection "Yahankazuki" features a soft pastry filled with red bean paste, baked fresh upon order, presenting a unique flavor of freshly made treats. The store also offers a reservation-only counter seating, allowing guests to closely observe artisans crafting wagashi. Additionally, there are elevated terrace seats surrounded by lush greenery and a pond, creating a comfortable atmosphere. In the product sales area, in addition to Toraya's classic items, there are also store-exclusive products. The bite-sized "Chigusa-gashi" comes in various flavors. Three flavors—red bean, matcha, and sansho—are available year-round, along with seasonal limited combinations that include fruits or spices, providing a rich tasting experience.

The renowned shop "Toraya," famous for its yokan, will reopen in Ginza as "TORAYA GINZA" in April 2024. The store features a tea room, creating an "elegant and tranquil" atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of Ginza. It offers freshly made wagashi exclusive to the Ginza location. There are reserved counter seats available, allowing guests to closely observe artisans as they create wagashi. In addition to classic Toraya products, the sales area will also offer exclusive items available only at the Ginza store.
