⛩️ Yuanman Temple Japanese Traditional Culture Experience

Enman-in, located in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, is a "monzeki" temple with a history of over 1,000 years. A monzeki temple refers to those that have had deep connections with the imperial family since ancient times. Monzeki temples hold a high religious status, and there are only 17 such temples in Japan, making them very precious. Today, this historic and charming ancient temple offers travelers various activities to experience traditional Japanese culture, including zazen (seated meditation), tea ceremony, and sutra copying.
