The Joetsu region of Niigata Prefecture is a famous production area for mugwort, and its climate, characterized by high temperatures and humidity in summer and low temperatures and moisture due to snowfall in winter, creates an ideal environment for fermentation. Thus, 80SPIRITS was born in this high-quality alcoholic beverage environment, which is conducive to the production of health foods. The spirit is made using the essence of ingredients that have been fermented and matured in ceramic jars for a year, resulting in a distilled beverage with a rich aroma of wild herbs, making it a very high-quality Japanese sake.
