🍜 Asahikawa Ramen Village
🎨 Restaurant Gallery
📝 Introduction
A bowl full of ramen! A ramen village that brings together 7 popular Asahikawa ramen shops.
📖 Details
Established in 1996, "Asahikawa Ramen Village" was created to promote the advantages and culture of Asahikawa ramen, gathering seven ramen shops from the city into one facility. The exterior is painted with animals from the Asahikawa Zoo enjoying delicious ramen, a mural created by students from Hokkaido Tokai University Asahikawa Campus.
Inside the facility, starting with the long-established ramen shop "Aoba," several popular Asahikawa ramen shops are gathered. "Aoba" offers a broth made from seafood and mountain ingredients, providing the same delicious taste since its founding; "ITTETSE An" features a broth simmered for a whole day, along with signature chashu made over two days; "Ishida" is known for its exquisite leg bone broth; "Tenkkin" is famous for its traditional nostalgic flavors; "Santouka" offers a taste that never gets tiresome; and "SAIJYOU" uses whole black-boned chicken to create a refreshing and sweet broth. Additionally, "Meikouken," known as "THE Asahikawa Ramen," is characterized by its secret broth. The seven shops engage in friendly competition, dedicated to researching the best flavors.
The facility also includes the Asahikawa Ramen Village Shrine, themed around "noodles" and "connections," praying that relationships can be as passionate as the hot broth of ramen, and that fates can last as long as noodles, blessing love to come true. There are also unique resting areas with humanoid standees shaped like shrine deities and chairs designed like disposable chopsticks, with ramen-themed features throughout the facility.
