The Bui-Bui Buoy Garden located on Su Island is a garden decorated with buoy art created by local resident Matsuda Yoshiko. The garden is filled with figures such as Jizō Bodhisattva, cats, and dolls made by Ms. Yoshiko using discarded fishing buoys. Each buoy figure has its own unique characteristics, with subtle facial expressions that are either cute or amusing, making them very interesting. Many visiting tourists enjoy finding their favorite buoy figure among the many on display to take photos as mementos.
Additionally, the garden features a variety of flowers and plants, allowing visitors to appreciate the blossoms swaying in the wind alongside the expressive buoy figures. The buoy garden is free to visit, but as it is located on private property, please be mindful of etiquette while visiting.
