🎨 Restaurant Gallery
📝 Introduction
The long-established café that closed with reluctance has been revived! Sip on a cup of our house-roasted specialty coffee and enjoy a moment of relaxation.
📖 Details
Founded in 1939, it is the oldest café in Asahikawa. It temporarily closed during the second generation, but after the heartfelt pleas from many customers, the manager took over the name and building, and it finally reopened in 2011. The interior, with its red brick walls and high-backed seats, is filled with a nostalgic atmosphere, creating a relaxing and unique space.
TIROL only uses specialty coffee beans. With its own roasting method, it offers three different types of coffee beans: light roast, medium roast, and dark roast, allowing customers to taste the variations in aroma and flavor. After ordering, each cup is carefully brewed by hand, ensuring that the coffee's flavor is not diminished, allowing you to enjoy the original deliciousness of the coffee beans. The water used for brewing coffee comes from the springs of Kuro-matsu, praised for its smooth texture.
A variety of dishes are available to pair with the coffee. You can enjoy handmade pancakes, sundae ice cream, and homemade soft serve ice cream made with Okoppe (おこっぺ) milk. The meal options are also quite rich, making it a great place to enjoy lunch.
