🍜 Coffee Mimi (Fukuoka)

📝 Introduction

A coffee roasting shop and tea house where you can taste carefully roasted precious coffee.

📖 Details

Standing between the "Fukuoka Castle Ruins" and "Gokoku Shrine" is an old-fashioned coffee specialty store on the Zelkova Tree Avenue. The first floor features a roasting room and a coffee bean sales area, while the second floor is a tea room. The signature coffee is characterized by its deep roast flavor. The types and quality of the coffee beans are carefully selected, and after being meticulously roasted in-store, they are brewed cup by cup using the traditional French press method. In addition to single-origin coffees primarily based on mocha, there are also five different special blends ranging from "light" to "bold." Coffee enthusiasts recommend trying the rich Demitasse coffee and the double-layer iced coffee "Mazagran." There is also a fruit cake made with seven types of dried fruits marinated in three kinds of alcohol, which pairs perfectly with coffee and is a must-try. This well-known café has a small counter and seating area, creating a tranquil atmosphere. The lush greenery outside the window makes one forget the passage of time.
