The aquarium that opened in 2020 is located a 20-minute drive from Naha Airport, nestled in the popular area of "iias Okinawa Toyosaki," which is surrounded by beaches, resorts, and commercial facilities. The theme is to provide an emotional and dreamlike experience at close range, showcasing the charm of nature and living creatures through innovative displays. Upon passing through the entrance on the second floor, visitors enter the "Evergreen Forest Zone," filled with large plants like the banyan tree. Here, various freshwater fish of all sizes inhabit the space, allowing guests to explore as if they were in a real forest, observing different creatures along the way. On the first floor, the "Clear Sea Zone" offers a view of a recreated Okinawan coastline with a blue sky and sunset, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, there are touch pools where visitors can interact with sharks and starfish, as well as feeding experiences with otters and tree kangaroos, providing various opportunities to connect with animals. Moreover, the large aquarium on the first floor features marine life from the waters off Okinawa, along with colorful fish that reflect the Okinawan style, and multiple tanks showcasing the dreamlike floating of jellyfish. The ceiling of the large aquarium is made of glass, giving the illusion of walking on water when viewed from the second floor. The facility also includes a café where guests can relax and enjoy meals while taking in the view of the large aquarium.
