📝 Introduction

A long-established tonkatsu specialty restaurant in Ginza.

📖 Details

Founded in 1927, "Ginza Meirin" is a famous fried pork cutlet restaurant. It is also well-known for its founder, a former pharmacist, who developed the tonkatsu sauce (fried pork cutlet sauce). The restaurant uses carefully selected ingredients, including Kagoshima's black pork known for its tender meat and the premium rice "Tsuya Hime" from Yamagata, which pairs perfectly with the fried pork cutlet. In addition to the fried pork cutlet and rice set, there are also popular items such as the pork cutlet sandwich with loin cutlet between toast, and the pork cutlet rice bowl topped with a soft-boiled egg. In addition to its location in Ginza, there is a branch at Haneda Airport, and the restaurant has also expanded overseas.
