Glico is a manufacturer representing Japanese candies and snacks. In order to promote the healthy growth of children, Glico produces and sells various nutritious candies. Among them, Pocky and Pretz are particularly popular, known by almost everyone in Japan. At the Glico factory tour, they produce 55,000 boxes of Pocky and 70,000 boxes of Pretz every day. In the area known as Pocky Street, visitors can observe the production line called "Pocky Street" through glass. On this conveyor belt, Pocky sticks pass by one after another, and the movement of the machines is quite interesting. There are many other attractions worth seeing, such as a hall, a gymnasium, a toy exhibition hall, a photo studio, and a mini factory where visitors can experience DIY and decorate Pretz. The glycogen component of Glico is said to be extracted from oysters. A reservation is required in advance to visit the factory. In the museum area, you can see up to 1,500 Glico small toys. There is a spot where you can take photos with the running character, Runny. After visiting the factory, you can also receive a limited edition souvenir.
