🍜 Goose Noodle Jingu Store

📝 Introduction

Enjoy the famous Nagoya kishimen amidst the lush greenery of the spacious Atsuta Shrine.

📖 Details

The "Kusanagi Plaza," which opened in 2021, is located near the second torii gate at Atsuta Shrine, one of Japan's three major shrines. The plaza features walking paths around a pond and is a popular spot for worshippers to relax and unwind. The "Mikawa Udon Jingu Store," which originated from Atsuta Shrine and was in operation for some time, has also undergone renovations to coincide with the plaza's completion. Visitors can enjoy the delicious flavors of this long-established eatery in the fresh air surrounded by lush greenery. In the clean, roofed outdoor space, a variety of udon dishes, including the classic "Mikawa Udon," are served. The udon is made with carefully selected ingredients and methods, resulting in a smooth texture with a chewy bite. There are many ways to enjoy the udon, paired with hot soup, cold soup, curry sauce, or Italian-style bacon and egg yolk sauce (available only in winter), making it delicious no matter how you eat it. In addition to udon, various set meals and rice dishes are also offered. The "Mikawa Soft Serve with Red Bean Dessert" and other exclusive sweet treats from the Jingu Store are also very popular.
