Located in Minakami Town, Gunma Prefecture, it is the largest ski resort in the northern part of Gunma Prefecture. With a maximum elevation of 1,400 meters and primarily north-facing slopes, it offers high-quality powder snow throughout the entire snow season. There are a total of 16 ski trails, ranging from the steepest "Eagle Trail" with a maximum gradient of 40 degrees to the gentle "Dandelion Trail" suitable for beginners, catering to all levels of skiers. The "10th Ski Trail," ideal for intermediate skiers, allows you to enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the surrounding mountains while skiing. Starting from the 2024 snow season, there will also be a snow park operated by "SCLOVER," featuring various facilities such as jumps and rainbow slides, providing an exhilarating experience for snowboard enthusiasts. A children's snow play area and a paid nursery are also available, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for families with young children. The ski lodge's restaurant offers the most eye-catching ski resort meals on social media, along with a rental shop for the latest ski equipment. Additionally, a brand new premium trailer house called "Earthboat," which includes a sauna, will be launched in the 2024 snow season, allowing guests to enjoy luxurious accommodations in nature and a comfortable outdoor lodging experience. It takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes to drive from Tokyo, or approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes by Shinkansen and free shuttle bus, making it very accessible. A day trip is also feasible.
