🗺️ Gunma Safari Park (群馬サファリパーク)

Known as the "Kingdom of Wildlife," the "Gunma Safari Park" is located in Tomioka City, Gunma Prefecture. It is an expansive natural zoo situated in the hilly area adjacent to Lake Oshi. Visitors can watch nearly a hundred species of wildlife, including giraffes, white tigers, and lions, up close from their vehicles. The park offers various buses that allow guests to tour the area, such as the "Feeding Experience Bus" where visitors can feed lions and herbivores from their car windows, providing an exhilarating experience of close encounters with animals. There are also buses designed to resemble cute animals like rhinos. In addition, the park features a Wild Walking Area where guests can stroll and observe animals, and the "Wolf Forest and Wolf Breeding Center," dedicated to the breeding and display of endangered wolves, is also worth a visit.

It is recommended to decide in advance the type of bus you will take before entering the park. In the Japanese area of the park, you can see Asian black bears (アジアクロクマ), Japanese macaques (ニホンザル), and sika deer (シカ).
