About Hakone Kowakien Yunessun Water Park
Not only are there outdoor hot springs, but also warm water slides and a red wine bath, allowing you to enjoy yourself in these super unique bathing pools!
Details
Hakone Kowakien YUNESSUN is a hot spring theme park located in the popular hot spring area of Hakone. It is mainly divided into three areas: the authentic hot spring "Motoyu Mori no Yu," and the swimwear-required "YUNESSUN Indoor Area" and "YUNESSUN Outdoor Area," each featuring uniquely charming hot spring baths.
The main bath in the authentic hot spring "Motoyu Mori no Yu" is the "Large Garden Outdoor Bath," where you can enjoy an atmosphere that feels as if you are immersed in the nature of Hakone. Additionally, there are the "Collagen Bath" (for women only) and the "Ceramic Bath."
The "YUNESSUN Indoor Area," which requires swimwear, is truly unique! Notable features include the bright red "Red Wine Bath" and Japan's first "Authentic Coffee Bath," which uses low-temperature hot spring extraction with a coarse filter cloth—experiences you can only find here!
In the "YUNESSUN Outdoor Area," also requiring swimwear, you can enjoy both the nature of Hakone and the baths at the same time. Particularly popular is the large heated water slide "Rodeo Mountain," which can be enjoyed year-round, as well as the "Super Scenic Outdoor Bath." True to its name, on clear days, you can gaze out over Sagami Bay, with breathtaking views that are truly captivating.
