🗺️ Hyogo Prefectural Awaji Flower Park SAJIKI兵庫県立公園あわじ花さじき

Awaji Hana SAJIKI is located in the hilly area of northern Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture, covering an expansive area of about 15 hectares. Admission to the park is free. Within the vast grounds, there are large fields of various flowers such as rapeseed, poppies, butterfly flowers, cosmos, and violets, creating a colorful world of blooming flowers throughout the year. It resembles a beautiful theater, allowing visitors to sit back and fully enjoy the magnificent views of the Akashi Strait and Osaka Bay, along with vibrant flower carpets woven from diverse flower fields. (The Japanese term "さじきSAJIKI" means audience seating.) The scenery from the park's observation deck is particularly breathtaking. The park also features a restaurant and shops. The café and restaurant "Galleri," located on the second floor, offers Nordic-style open-faced sandwiches called "Smørrebrød." From the large glass windows or terrace seating, guests can enjoy captivating views. On the first floor, there is a direct sales shop where visitors can purchase local agricultural products, including Awaji Island's famous onions and other local specialties. This is a place that photography enthusiasts will love, and it offers enjoyable experiences for families, couples, and anyone looking to connect with nature.
