🗺️ JR Kanazawa Station

Kanazawa Station is the transportation gateway to Ishikawa, with the Hokuriku Shinkansen opening in 2015. The travel time between Tokyo and Kanazawa is about 2 hours and 30 minutes, serving as a starting point for tourism in Kanazawa and the Hokuriku region. The Shinkansen platform is adorned with gold leaf, and the corridors and columns are decorated with washi paper and Kaga Yuzen. Furthermore, the waiting room walls feature over 200 craft items, including Wajima lacquerware and Kutani ceramics, making the entire station building a notable attraction that showcases Kanazawa's traditional crafts. Kanazawa Station has also been selected by an American travel magazine as one of the "Most Beautiful Stations in the World." Additionally, the "Hospitality Dome," which stands at the east side of the station near Kenrokuen, is highly regarded internationally and deserves attention.

The Hokuriku Shinkansen and other trains start and end here, making it a station that serves as a hub for tourism in the Hokuriku region. The platform and various areas within the station are adorned with traditional Kanazawa crafts. Located at the Kenrokuen exit, the "Hospitality Dome" made of glass leaves a deep impression. It is renowned abroad as the "most beautiful station in the world."
