The Shinkansen platform is adorned with gold leaf, and the corridors and columns are decorated with washi paper and Kaga Yuzen. Furthermore, the waiting room walls feature over 200 craft items, including Wajima lacquerware and Kutani ceramics, making the entire station building a notable attraction that showcases Kanazawa's traditional crafts. Kanazawa Station has also been selected by an American travel magazine as one of the "Most Beautiful Stations in the World." Additionally, the "Hospitality Dome," which stands at the east side of the station near Kenrokuen, is highly regarded internationally and deserves attention.
