A seaside hot spring resort where you can enjoy a sea bath on the beach with white sand and green pines.

Details

The hot springs, which emerge from the seabed of Miho Bay, are known for their sodium chloride and calcium chloride properties, referred to as "salt hot springs." With a high concentration of salt, they are excellent for retaining heat and are beloved by visitors for their skin-beautifying effects, making them famous in the San'in region. The hot spring street is lined with various ryokans and hotels, each offering unique charms and styles. Some feature open-air baths with views of the Sea of Japan or the mountains, while others focus on rich cuisine made from local delicacies of Tottori. The coastline, formed by several bowl-shaped small bays, has been selected as one of the "88 Best Bathing Beaches in Japan." The calm beach is a safe swimming area during the summer, attracting many tourists. It is less than a 30-minute drive to Yonago Airport, JR Yonago Station, the Yonago Interchange, and Sakai Minato, known as the "City of Yokai," making it an excellent location for surrounding sightseeing.
