🗺️ Keikyu Museum京急ミュージアム

As part of the celebration for the 120th anniversary of the Keikyu Group, a museum opened in 2020 with the concept of "Viewing, Touching, and Experiencing 'Real Objects'." The museum features the historic train "Keikyu Deha 230 Series," which was put into service in the early Showa era and underwent two years of restoration work. It also includes a realistic diorama of the scenic views along the line, a driving experience area called "Railway Simulation Driving," and a hands-on experience workshop known as "My Carriage Factory," among various other exhibits and facilities. The Keikyu Museum is located on the first floor of the Keikyu Group headquarters and offers free admission. However, some experiential facilities, such as "Railway Simulation Driving" and "My Carriage Factory," require a fee. All experiences must be reserved in advance online, so please pay special attention to this. The museum is directly connected to Yokohama Station via the "Porta Underground Shopping Street" and "Hamamirai Walk." It can also be accessed from the Minato Mirai Line's "Shin-Takashima" Station.

The Keikyu train "Keikyu Deha 230" that began operation in the early Showa period is preserved and displayed. It features a giant three-dimensional model approximately 12 meters long. Visitors can experience a simulated driving experience using the actual control panel of the new 1000 series train. There is also a hands-on workshop area called "My Carriage Factory." Admission and various experiences require prior online reservations.
