The Michelin three-star tourist destination, "Mount Takao," is a popular spot visited by many tourists from both domestic and international locations. The "Keio Takao Onsen / Gokurakuyu" is located next to the Keio Line's "Takaosanguchi Station," which provides direct access to Mount Takao, making it a highly popular day-trip hot spring facility.
Situated in an excellent location surrounded by the rich natural environment of Mount Takao, it features a "Hinoki Onsen" with abundant microbubbles and a "sauna," along with a variety of bathing pools. There is a natural hot spring that springs from about 1,000 meters underground, offering a "natural hot spring outdoor rock bath (warm water bath and hot water bath)" where you can enjoy beautiful views while soaking in the gentle spring water, which is said to have excellent skin-beautifying effects.
Additionally, there is a "massage area" and a "nap area" for relaxation after enjoying the hot springs, as well as a "dining area" where you can savor local specialties like "yamaimo (mountain yam) mud soba" and refreshing beer. Please bring your parking ticket to the service desk. *On weekends, due to the high volume of visitors, there may be situations where parking is unavailable, so it is recommended to use public transportation.
Can I enter the hot spring if I have tattoos?
We sincerely apologize, but we do not allow guests with tattoos, artistic tattoos, or sticker tattoos to enter the venue. There are explanatory signs posted at the entrance and other locations. If guests with tattoos enter the venue without noticing the signs, we will guide you to leave the premises. Thank you for your understanding.
If you cover your tattoo with tape or something similar, can you enter the hot spring?
