📜 Content

Kurashiki Ivy Square is transformed from the headquarters factory of the Kurashiki Spinning Company, built in 1889. The reconstructed building reflects the design style of the time, modeled after British factories, with red brick walls intertwined with green ivy, creating a striking contrast of colors and evoking a charming retro nostalgia. Inside Ivy Square, there are accommodation facilities, restaurants, banquet halls, experience workshops, a history museum, and shops selling local specialty products. Right next to the facilities is the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Area. The courtyard square covers an area of 1,400 square meters, providing a sense of openness. Speakers installed in the rainwater drainage pipes play pleasant music, and at night, landscape lighting creates a dreamlike atmosphere.
