About Lifetime Youth Hot Spring TsuruTsuru Onsen

Enjoy the skin-smoothing "Beauty Hot Spring" in the lush greenery of Okutama.

Details

Located in the Okutama area of Tokyo, "Hinode Town" offers a day-trip hot spring facility. The alkaline spring water, sourced from 1,500 meters underground, has a smooth texture that leaves the skin feeling very soft, earning it the nickname "Beauty Skin Hot Spring." The facility features three types of amenities: indoor baths, outdoor baths, and a sauna. The outdoor baths include a rustic Japanese rock bath called "Bijin no Yu" (美人之湯) and a Western-style cypress bath named "Seigai Seishun no Yu" (生涯青春之湯). These baths alternate between men's and women's on odd and even days. After bathing, it is recommended to dine at the Panorama Restaurant, which offers a rich selection of meals, from kamameshi (rice cooked in an iron pot) and hoba-yaki (grilled on a magnolia leaf) set meals to various side dishes. Alternatively, guests can relax at the SPA salon. In addition to the outdoor baths, visitors can enjoy the beautiful natural scenery from comfortable private rooms (for a fee) and relaxation areas. Due to its proximity to popular hiking spots like Mount Mitake (御嶽山) and Hinode Mountain (日之出山), both of which are under 1,000 meters in elevation and home to the Musashi Mitake Shrine (武蔵御嶽神社), many hikers come here to relieve their fatigue after a day of trekking.
