About Miyazawa Kenji Fairy Tale Village
"Happy Learning Facilities" for exploring the fairy tale world of Kenji Miyazawa through images and songs.
Details
The Miyazawa Kenji Fairy Tale Village is an experiential facility based on the fairy tales of the famous Japanese author Miyazawa Kenji. It features attractions such as "Galaxy Station," "Sky Plaza," "Kenji Classroom," "Fairy Path," "Owl Path," "Mountain Grassland," and "Kenji School," all meticulously constructed and filled with a dreamy atmosphere.
The main building, "Kenji School," is divided into five areas: "Dream Hall," "Universe," "Sky," "Earth," and "Water," where visitors can see an unusual world. While sitting in the "Dream Hall," images of forests or starry skies from Kenji's fairy tale world are projected onto the walls, and giant insects greet visitors. Upon reaching the Earth room, one can begin exploring the world of living creatures... it's a facility where one can experience an incredible space.
Additionally, in the wooden exhibition facility "Kenji Classroom," visitors can learn about the "plants," "animals," "stars," "birds," and "stones" featured in Kenji's fairy tales, as well as the Sky Plaza that gradually elevates, and the "Fairy Path" where telephone poles and flocks of birds come out to greet visitors on moonlit nights. There are many popular attractions worth seeing, along with numerous spots perfect for photography.
