The NTT InterCommunication Center (abbreviated as ICC), operated by NTT East Japan, is a cultural facility planned in 1990 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Japanese telephone industry and opened in 1997. Utilizing computers and cutting-edge technology, it integrates elements of art, chemistry, and technology to host exhibitions and events categorized as "media and art." With "communication" as its central theme, it plays an important role in promoting exchanges between artists and scientists. The center features an audiovisual area where visitors can access a vast database of visual materials, including collections, past exhibitions, and event footage. Moreover, the center regularly holds symposiums featuring invited artists, professional performances, and thematic seminars, as well as various planned activities. It actively organizes educational outreach programs suitable for a wide audience, including children's workshops during the summer vacation, making its activities diverse and enriching.
