About Ocean Terrace (Awaji Island)

Enjoy delicious Awaji beef at the beach selected as one of Japan's top 100 sunset views.

Details

Ocean Terrace is a barbecue restaurant with a stunning view of the sea. Located right in front of the Seto Inland Sea, it features a three-story terrace with 90 seats and excellent visibility. Guests can enjoy the breathtaking views of the ever-changing sea while savoring high-quality "Awaji Beef," a premium brand of Tajima beef that meets strict standards and is raised on Awaji Island. It is said that only about 150 cows per year are certified as Awaji Beef, making it extremely rare and valuable. The signature dish at Ocean Terrace is steak. For regular Awaji beef, guests can use a self-service barbecue method, which is making its debut in Japan, grilling on specially designed lava plates. However, if you order the rare Awaji Beef, the chef will handle the cooking. Additionally, salads and other dishes in the set menus or full meals use local ingredients from Awaji Island. The drink selection is also quite extensive, featuring local beverages including Awaji Shichifukujin beer and wines produced by local breweries. On the second floor is the café "miele the garden," where you can enjoy pasta made with Awaji kamaboko (whitebait) and Awaji chicken. Accompanied by the beautiful sunset views of the Seto Inland Sea, which has been selected as one of Japan's "Top 100 Sunsets," you can indulge in delicious cuisine and experience a luxurious and elegant time.
