Oishi Park is a well-known spot for flower viewing, with its paths referred to as the "Flower Street." From late April, tulips and rapeseed flowers bloom, broom grass appears around August to September, and after October, you can enjoy the beauty of sage and peacock flowers, all framed by the majestic Mount Fuji throughout the seasons. The best time to see the famous lavender is from late June to mid-July, coinciding with the "Kawaguchi Lake Herb Festival," which is held at the main venue during this period.
Inside the "Kawaguchi Lake Nature Life Center," visitors can experience making jam using local blueberries, as well as enjoy cafes and restaurants with views of Mount Fuji, along with shops selling local souvenirs. There are countless pleasures beyond just the scenery. Additionally, there are playgrounds, multipurpose squares, and a "Direct Sales Store for Agricultural Products" offering fresh local vegetables, making it a perfect place to spend a leisurely day.
