The "Osaka Light Festival," which makes the nights of Osaka shine with beautiful and dreamy lights, consists of two main themes: the "Midosuji Illuminations" held on the iconic Midosuji street and the "OSAKA Light Renaissance" in the Nakanoshima area. One of the core programs, "OSAKA Light Renaissance," takes place in the Nakanoshima area, located between the Dojima River and the Tosabori River. This area is home to important cultural properties designated as national treasures, such as the Osaka City Central Public Hall and the Nakanoshima Library, making it a hub of culture and art in Osaka. The entire Nakanoshima area is enveloped in dazzling lights. The light sculpture projections on the Osaka City Central Public Hall and the dynamic illumination performances are captivating; the Nakanoshima Illuminated Street, along the approximately 150-meter-long zelkova tree-lined avenue, sparkles with vibrant and stunning colors.
