The biggest charm of this restaurant is the ability to enjoy "Kyomizunagi" (a rare type of eel) prepared in different styles such as kabayaki (grilled eel with a sweet soy sauce glaze), shirayaki (grilled eel without sauce), and unaju. Kyomizunagi is extremely rare, with few establishments in Japan offering it, earning it the nickname "dream eel." This eel is raised over a long period in the pure streams of the Oi River in Shizuoka Prefecture, and its original flavor and sweetness rival that of wild eels. Reservations are required, making it a must-try delicacy. For lunch, popular items include the crispy and fragrant "unagi kabayaki," which can be ordered with sauce or salt; and the "Goku Unagi Soba," made with a rich sauce simmered from minced eel, which is also highly delicious.
