🗺️ Sagamihara Asamizoko Park市立相模原麻溝公園

The expansive comprehensive park features multiple facilities and does not charge an entrance fee, making it a popular recreational spot for citizens. It is connected to the nearby Kanagawa Prefectural Sagamihara Park via a pedestrian bridge, facilitating movement between the two locations. The 55-meter-high observation tower, "Green Tower Sagamihara," is the symbol of the park. On clear days, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view from the 38-meter observation room, overlooking the Tokyo Skytree, the Tama Hills, Tanzawa, Yokohama, and the Shonan urban area. Additionally, there are outdoor fitness facilities nestled among the trees, an "Animal Plaza" where visitors can experience feeding animals or riding mini horses, and various colorful large playground equipment that children love. The park has previously hosted the "National Urban Greening Carnival," featuring large flower and forest plazas, where flowers bloom throughout the seasons, providing a feast for the eyes for visitors. Among them, the clematis in spring and the hydrangeas in early summer are particularly beautiful and definitely worth seeing.
